A postcard of Queen Elisabeth of Romania written to American friends:
“My kind friends! I’m afraid; my longing to see you must not yet be satisfied! It is getting cold und horrid here and I don’t know how long we stay and after the American note Americans here! A little little too soon: So we must be patient and you will come to Bucarest! I am in such a hurry and worry! Send me your next address. Elisabeth. Sinaia, oct. 12 1902”
